a little wedding preview...

As always, when I'm pressured to post an event...I just stop blogging...only this time I have a valid reason. I have almost no pictures! It may have had something to do with the fact then when I arrived at the church I was trying to get dressed, get children dressed {and make them happy}, finish making the bride's garter and the cake flowers, and cut the tags for the candy bar...all while trying to run back and forth to be in the pictures when the photographer was calling my name. hmmm...PLENTY of time right!? Well, in the end it was all done and looked amazing...I just don't have much evidence.The flowers in the foyer...I didn't have anything to do with them, but I LOVED that the florist added the feathers!! {Heather's colors were eggplant and ivory. The flowers were actually more purple than pictured}
The programs. I LOVED them...which is a good thing since I had to individually cut each one :)

Thankfully, I had a team of bridesmaids willing to tie on all of the fabric strips. THANKS girls!!

And the logo...was of course designed by the fabulous, very talented, and always willing-to-help-me-even-with-no-notice JESSI!! She had no idea what shape the programs were...or that they were even a shape, but the logo shape she used was PERFECT!!! THANKS A MILLION!!!!

These were all outside...I actually never got to see them while they were out. Thanks to Paige, I got a peek :) More to come...

the rehearsal dinner

The wedding is over...I hope that sleep is in my near future! It hasn't come yet, but hopefully soon...very,very soon.

Here are a few pictures from the rehearsal dinner. I realize that the groom's family is the host, but you know I HAD to take over on the decorating!! It was in a really old reclaimed building downtown...the rising sun. I LOVE old buildings!
