Our friends were over the other night, and Amanda started talking to the kids about pirates. She convinced Renée and Elijah that she was friends with "the pirates." She told them that she would ask the pirates to share some treasure. I guess she really does know them...this was on our doorstep!

How cute!! We convinced our kids that we had pirates that came into our house and left a treasure map while they were sleeping. The "pirates" left a plastic gold coin next to each step on the map (so the kids wouldn't get lost) and then left a treasure buried in the backyard. My 2 still ask when the pirates are going to come back!!
