better late than never...

Mimi and Papaw celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July, and i just found the pictures on my camera...since she is obsessed with all things oriental and he just goes along with it heather and i decided to go with it. Here are a few of the details...we of course had chineese food, and the chopsticks to eat it with--although i think orum is the only one who used them, but i was prepared with 150 sets! anyone need chopsticks? each set was tied with ribbon and had a little label embossed with the gold conji for love, which also turned out to be the party logo.

erica made the awesome cake! each layer was a diffrent flavor. one for each of their favorites and the third for me! (i did plan everything!) notice the emobssed logos on the vases and the cones for the candy buffet! i think i ended up making close to 400 logos including all the ones on the invitations too...it was out of control! they are also on the tops of the takeout boxes we filled with fortune cookies for the favors...as always there are picutres that i didn't get because between the party and my crazy kids i didn't have time-this time it was of people and the actual party. well i'm sure someone did...now i just have to figure out who! happy anniversary mimi and papaw! love you! bre

these were the decorations outside...vinyl on the windows. a love symbol on the end windows and names and date on the center ones. the path was lined with the paper lanterns which actually had a light inside...unfortunatly the sun was so bright you couldn't tell. oh well...

preschool drama update--apparently brooke decided that she would play with renee again if renee showed her the kitty cat that she took for nap time, which she did...and i'm sending cookies tomorrow! so those little girls better be nice to mine! i've decided that she's determined to be friends with this little girl becuase one of her best friends at her old preschool in west monroe had the same name...i hope the drama ends soon! aren't treats supposed to fix everything at this age?

Bre, you have gotten so good at this. From finding bags of roses in the trash...you've sure come a long way.
